Our Mission
Flagstaff Community Markets was started in 2000 as a regional producers market that operates for growers and producers of agricultural and related products. The primary purpose of the Market is to support small and medium sized independent growers and producers by providing people with a local alternative to corporate and globalized food production.
It is our intent to connect growers and consumers and encourage people, both urban and rural, in growing more of their own food. A secondary purpose is to provide an outlet for small-scale producers of value added food products, local artisans, and community and sustainable agricultural groups.
Additionally, it is the purpose of the Flagstaff Community Market to provide a Community gathering space for residents and visitors to Flagstaff to mix in a relaxed, educational, and fun environment.

Flagstaff Urban Flea Market!
Over the years Flagstaff Community Market has had an increasing amount of artisans requesting to vend at the farmers market. As we have a strong commitment to keeping the farmers market agricultural/food focussed we have turned away a great many artisans. In 2016, with Andres "Dre" Adauto, we launched a new market, providing a venue for a grand variety of wares such as antiques, records, books, bicycles, food, gems and minerals, handmade woodwork and leatherwork, ceramics, soaps, vintage clothing, used tools, comics, toys, household goods, jewelry, upcycled goods, flowers, and any other sort of funky/flea market type treasures.
The goal of this market is to support individuals, small businesses, and community groups by providing a setting with high exposure and low up-front cost while supporting specific non profits in town. This market will be an awesome, eclectic mix of artisans and peddlers who make and sell a unique variety of good. |
Our History
Flagstaff Community Market started in 2000 as a small with 10 farmers market vendors in a dirt lot south of the railroad tracks. The support and commitment of locals to connect with their food and farmers has allowed the Market to grow exponentially over the years.
In addition to the farmers market, Flagstaff Community Markets answers the call from artist's and other entities requesting a venue to sell their wares with the commencement of the Flagstaff Urban Flea & Artisan Market in 2016! The Flagstaff Community Markets would not be what they are today without the energetic support of the Flagstaff community. Thank you Flagstaff!
